How safe is our drinking water?

When investigating water safety, there are several things to take into account. Firstly – where do you live? Populations in industrialized countries are prone to taking pharmaceutical drugs including contraceptive hormones, heart medicine and pain killers that ultimately get flushed down the toilet and into the communal water system – and your drinking water.

In Sweden the environmental director for Stockholm, Professor Åke Wennmalm, publicly warned his daughters from drinking Stockholm water. They were pregnant at the time and Wennmalm pointed out that there are no communal methods for filtering out chemicals from our drinking water.
